MAXON Computer, the manufacturer of CINEMA 4D and other professional 3D modelling, animation and rendering tools, continued promoting its "Power Integration Tour" with a stopover at SIGGRAPH 2007 in San Diego.
Paul Babb, MAXON president and CEO, said the road show being presented by MAXON and Adobe is being well received, with more than 100 attendees at each of the sessions. The 10-city tour is scheduled to end August 23rd in Denver, Colorado, but Babb said MAXON is considering adding more dates in the near future.
The four-hour Power Integration Tour demonstrate how to combine Adobe® Creative Suite® 3, Production Premium and MAXON's CINEMA 4D to produce 3D motion designs. Representatives of MAXON and Adobe cover an array of motion graphics topics culminating in the production of a television newscast opening.
Babb said the presentation begins with storyboards and walks participants through the steps to create a news broadcast opening using tools including CINEMA 4D, Illustrator, AfterEffects and Production Premium CS3. Both new users and veterans benefit from the presentation.
The partnership between MAXON and Adobe is being extended to SIGGRAPH, Babb noted. Presentators at MAXON's booth are being made by Adobe, Hybrid Medical, Reality Check and other vendors to illustrate how MAXON products interface with other vendors' offerings.
